The ‘Slump’ really is global folks…

March 19, 2009

The true scale of the effect this ‘Slump’ is having on people worldwide can be easily seen in this photo essay from the Boston Globe.

The Big Picture

I find it hard to believe people just can’t see how bad things can get.  Image 32 is very powerful. A homeless resident of a tent city in Sacramento, California wears an American flag jacket on March 10, 2009. This tent city of the homeless is seeing an increase in population as the economy worsens, as more people join the ranks of the unemployed and as homes slip into foreclosure. Wake up folks. It really isn’t going to get much better for a long, long time.

Peace

Incredible find…profoundly sad and sickening. To think that things will only worsen from here on.
